The Book of Screed - February 3rd, 2008

Here's something exciting: it seems that my story "Knight of Sorrows" will make the cover for the upcoming issue of MindFlights Magazine. Of course, that means you need cover art, which you can see above. This picture was done by one E.J. Mickels II, who has a website hither, and a blog yonder, and who gave his kind permission to let me put the picture up here. Thanks, sir!

What I find interesting is that while the picture is quite accurate to the story, it is nonetheless totally unlike how I visualized that particular scene. Reading is an imaginative act, so I suppose every single reader's visualization of a particular scene will be different from every other reader's conception.
