existentialism, in the cardiovascular sense

Life can often seem frustrating, depressing, and sometimes even utterly futile.
I find an excellent way to combat that mindset is to go for a 3/4 mile run. Afterwards, with 99% of your brainpower devoted to the effort of breathing, it's quite hard to worry about anything at all. And sitting down takes on a whole new world of meaning. Yes, life might indeed be dark and full of hardships for the righteous and the wicked alike.
But, dang, it feels good to sit down.
