a shocking turn of events at Christmas
The Amazon sales rank on my book jumped from #2,200,00 to #1,100,000, which means someone actually bought my book! Practically unprecedented! This hasn't happened for, like, years. Someone must have clicked on it by mistake. It's like the "Simpsons" episode when Lisa buys a copy of Al Gore's book, and the entire national defense apparatus reacts with shock that someone actually bought the Vice President's book.
Merry Christmas to me, indeed.
In that vein, it's about Christmastime, so blogging will be sporadic until next year; places to go, people to see, and that eggnog sure isn't going to drink itself. So, friends and neighbors, here's hoping your Christmas is pleasant, and if you're traveling, be wary of deer, oblivious truckers*, clueless TSA employees, and malicious weather.
