blah blah blah, look at me, blah blah blah*
This is ostensibly my writing blog. I should talk about writing. Still, is there anything more pitiful than a writer who talks about nothing but writing? Blah blah blah, look at me, I can sometimes string words together into a coherent sentence, and occasionally I convince people to give me money for those sentences, blah blah blah.
Still, maybe I should talk about writing. You know. On special occasions.
On that note, I finished the edits on two new stories, "Psions" and "Eaters of Fear". Both were actually written for the same anthology, with different interpretations of the same themes. I sent them "Eaters of Fear". The idea is that if (when) they reject "Eaters of Fear", I'll have "Psions" all ready to go. Contingency planning, you see.
Then what? Well, I should really edit my mystery novel "Share The Pain". This will be tricky. It's only 80,000 words, and I don't want it to go shorter. Or longer. Then I actually have to find someone to buy the dang thing.
But that's totally the easy part, right? After all, I'm sure there are dozens of publishers eager to buy a mystery novel from an obscure sf/f short fiction writer. Hundreds, even! And then we'll be greeted as liberators!
