bad drivers, bad drivers
A recent study found that 36 million American drivers would flunk a drivers' test.

Really, does this surprise anyone? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

I am sure that I, personally, have been tailed by at least 36 million drivers for whom the concept of "safe following distance" is as incomprehensible as calculus to a cocker spaniel.

Oh, were you the person who was driving 20 mph under the speed limit? (On a clear day with a straight stretch of road, no less?) Not that I am bitter. *g*

And *you* were the person tailgating me at 79 mph on the freeway?

Much is explained. :)
