iron chef, windy critic
I'm not all that fond of television, with a few exceptions. This afternoon, though, I had something of a headache, so I lay on the couch for a bit to rest, and found myself watching Iron Chef America.
Good heavens, those judges are bitchy.
I mean, they're literally getting waited on hand and foot by the finest chefs in America, and they just sit there and complain. The presentation is bad! The texture is strange! The sauce doesn't fully complement the meat! No sense of perspective, these people.
And lo! for dinner tonight I had grilled cheese, canned soup, and frozen vegetables, and I was well contented. Presentation or no presentation.

I did quite a bit of editing this weekend, finishing up "Storm Dance, Ash Rain" and "Knives of Blood and Shadow". So off to their intended markets they go. Next I'm going to try one more short story, "Psion".
Then I'm out of short story ideas for the nonce, so it's time to edit my mystery novel "Share the Pain".
