analyze this

Here you can see the results of Google Analytics, with a nifty little pie chart analyzing visitors to jonathanmoeller.com by OS and browser type. This information is, of course, totally useless to me, but it's still nice to know. And this is only a tiny subset of the information Google Analytics can track. You can analyze visitors by keyword (so far, my top keywords are "windows vista and chess", by geographical location, even by connection type and speed.

Creepy. Even Big Brother-ish. But still interesting.

Awesome! I should be in the "Firefox 2.0.0.2- Windows XP" blob. I think. I'd love to know who is using 1.0.

I don't see that it is too big brother-ish because it is your personal site. If it was some organization looking up all of the detailed data and using it to change consumer behavior, THAT would be big-brother-ish.

True enough. I'll have to save the Big Brother aspect for when I get around to developing an invasive tracking cookie (installed via ActiveX).

I'm curious who's using IE6 with Windows 2000. Somebody at work, I suspect.
